Sutures placed during the procedure are removed in our clinic after roughly 7-9 days. Most patients can have their ears re-pierced 6 -8 weeks after treatment, though some patients may need to wait longer.
The entire procedure on one earlobe takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes. Generally, a strong topical anesthetic cream is placed on the earlobe prior to the injection of the local anesthetic.
