PRP FACIAL IN ZACHARY PRP Facial Infusion

WELCOME TO RENAISSANCE DERMATOLOGY & AESTHETICS Non-Surgically Stimulate Collagen Production

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) facials are a new, effective beauty trend popularized by celebrities and beauty influencers. Some people even refer to PRP facials as a “fountain of youth” because of their skin-rejuvenating effects. PRP facials, first and foremost, address the signs of aging, while also being nearly completely free of discomfort. PRP facials are non-surgical, safe, and provide our patients with incredible results of younger, better-looking skin.

To perform a PRP facial infusion in Zachary, we collect plasma from your blood. We then purify the plasma and strategically infuse it into your skin. These microneedle infusions give your body an added boost to repair your skin from the inside out, leaving you with noticeably younger-looking skin.

Why Try a PRP Facial in Zachary?

Repairs Skin

A PRP facial stimulates the growth of new and healthy cells which can repair damage to the skin, such as acne scarring and sun damage.

Reverses Signs of Aging

PRP facials help to stimulate the production of collagen. With the added collagen production, your skin is more responsive and signs of aging, such as wrinkles, are reduced.

Little Preparation or Recovery Time Required

You won’t need to do much to get ready for a PRP facial. Simply wear sunscreen for the week leading up to your facial, stay hydrated (drink at least 64 oz. of water) for 3 days leading up to your visit, and don’t wear makeup to your appointment with us.

Recovery is minimal, with some redness that may last a few days after treatment. You can return to normal activity the following day.

WHAT TO EXPECT The PRP Facial Process

PRP Facial Infusion
1

Consultation

Before your PRP facial infusion at Renaissance Dermatology & Aesthetics in Zachary, you’ll meet with Dr. Harrington for a consultation. During this time, we will discuss your skin concerns and what you want to achieve. Based on your consultation, we will determine if a PRP facial infusion is right for you.

PRP Facial Infusion

Your provider will start by applying a medical-grade numbing cream. This ensures that the procedure is pain-free. We will draw a small amount of your blood. Next, we extract plasma for your treatment. We like to refer to PRP as “liquid gold” because of its yellow color and the enrichment it provides for your skin.

Results

Results can be seen almost immediately after your treatment. You will also continue to see improvements in your skin in the weeks that follow your PRP facial. We recommend 3 treatments over 3 months to maximize your results.
